I find the stories of Easter in the Bible some of the most compelling.
So much human suffering, weakness and power and strength.

A smashing Tanka reminding us that Easter is about a bit more than chocolate eggs.

I once went out with a Catholic guy who caused the congregation to audibly gasp when he tried to take Judas as his confirmation name.
True story ππ€

Lol I would have loved to have seen and heard that gasp. There is no dishonor to that name, Judas had his part to fill. My question did the cardinal accept the choice? π€

Apparently the priest asked him if he would like to ‘choose again’ and he replied with the (somewhat less colourful) Francis instead.
Still didn’t stop his parents from sending him to bed with no tea that night though!! ππ€
